I was browsing through You Tube in search of new Iraq war footage.  Not trying to be morbid, I just wanted to see what the new generation of troops are dealing with.  I stumbled upon a few military boredom clips which were great for a laugh.  I was just about to log off when i stumbled upon a chilling picture of a Marine in my former unit.  The title read, Military Miracles, it was a trailer for an upcoming show with the same name.  The show is supposed to air its pilot episode on the History Channel sometime this year.

I watched the trailer, and chills literally crawled up my spine.  Familiar faces flooded on screen.  Friends, officers, reporters, I knew these men, I knew these stories.  Things I dreamt while not asleep spilled out of their mouths.  Memories flooded my brain, adrenaline rushed my body.  I convinced myself these visions and accounts were long gone from my mind.  I was wrong.

Even writing this, my brain is on overload.  There is a need to see this documentary.  In the short clip that was viewed, I saw actual footage of the battle of the Sadam Canal.  I knew we had imbedded media with us, but I thought the footage had been destroyed in a 2003 OIF ambush.  I’m excited at the news that this footage is still alive and well, and I am on a mission to aquire this documentary in its entirety.

Wow, how crazy is that?  The random things you find when your not looking for them.
